Boulder County Coronavirus Update: New Cases, Vaccination Data
Here's the latest news about vaccination rates in Boulder County, and coronavirus case rates by municipality.

BOULDER COUNTY, CO — Over the past three weeks, 505 new cases of the coronavirus have been reported in Boulder County, according to the latest public health data.
As of Sunday, 23,615 people in the county had tested positive for the virus since the outbreak began. The death toll reached 257 after three people died over the past three weeks.
More than 165,300 Boulder County residents — or 55.6 percent of the eligible population — are fully immunized, according to Boulder County Public Health. Around 197,416 residents — 66.4 percent of the county — have received at least one dose.

Around 815 people have been hospitalized in the county since the outbreak began, and 23 new hospitalizations were reported over the past three weeks.

- Superior: 3,922.6
Boulder County Public Health has again amended its face covering order, which will remain in effect until June 10.
While the state mask order will be lifted for all indoor facilities June 1, masks for these facilities (regardless of vaccination status) will still be required through June 10 in Boulder County:
- Healthcare (hospitals, urgent care, clinics, non-urgent medical structures, etc.)
- P-12 schools, childcare, indoor camps
- Congregate care facilities
- Public transportation and conveyances (including ride shares)
Masks are required indoors for unvaccinated people in the following settings:
- Jails (vaccinated individuals must provide proof of vaccination to remove mask)
- Departments of Motor Vehicles
Businesses may still implement their own policies and require you to wear a mask.
