Boulder County COVID-19 Update: Latest Numbers, Vaccination Rates

Boulder County Public Health has released the latest information about case and vaccination rates.

BOULDER COUNTY, CO — Over the past week, 60 new cases of the coronavirus have been reported in Boulder County, according to the latest public health data.

More than 216,000 Boulder County residents — or 74 percent of the eligible population — have received at least one dose of their vaccine, according to Boulder County Public Health. Around 194,000 residents — 67 percent of the county — are fully inoculated.

As of Friday, 23,880 people in the county had tested positive for the virus since the outbreak began. The death toll hit 260 after three deaths were reported over the past week.

Around 832 people have been hospitalized in the county since the outbreak began, and nine new hospitalizations were reported over the past week.

Upcoming closing/modified schedule for testing sites:

  • St. Vrain Valley Schools Innovation Center - June 18 will be the last day for operations.
  • Stazio Ballfields - The last day for operations is scheduled for Sept. 30. The county will continue to assess usage in the coming months, officials said.

Testing sites in partnership with Boulder Community Health:

  • Nederland Community Center testing site will continue on a month-to-month basis.
  • Testing within shelters will continue on a month-to-month basis.
