On Sunday, June 6, 2021 at approximately 4:30 p.m., the Boulder County Communications Center was notified of an injured hiker on the Royal Arch Trail.

A twenty-one year-old male from Boulder, CO sustained a non-life threatening leg injury while hiking on the Royal Arch Trail. Rocky Mountain Rescue Group provided a litter evacuation to the trailhead. The injured hiker declined ambulance transport. The rescue lasted approximately one hour.
