Boulder Ranch Selling For $10M: 178 Acres With Lakes, Ponds

A Boulder ranch, which has been in the Shanahan family for more than 160 years, remains listed for sale.

BOULDER, CO — A 178-acre Boulder property that features some of Colorado's most iconic views has been listed for $10 million. The ranch features two lakes and a stock pond.

The property includes 1.25 shares of Boulder Creek water, which are worth around $1.3 million.

"It is possible to subdivide off a 35 acre parcel on the south side and seller would entertain separating the two for the right price," listing agents said.

The City of Boulder offered to purchase the property for $6.6 million in 2008, but the Shanahans showed evidence that the offer was far too low for the going rates in the area.
