Boulder Seniors Compete To Bag The Biggest Rainbow Trout

BOULDER, CO -- The most experienced anglers in Boulder County will have a chance to show off their skills at the annual Senior Fish-Off, scheduled to take place this Friday at the Wally Toevs Pond at Walden Ponds Wildlife Habitat. Prizes will be awarded fo the heaviest rainbow trout, the first to reach the limit, and the oldest angler. The day will finish with a celebratory fish fry for all.
The Fish-Off will take place rain or shine, and no advance registration is necessary. All competitors must be older than 64. No pre-registration is necessary, but a 2019 Colorado fishing license will be required.
A wheelchair-accessible fishing pier will be available. Competitors must bring their own fishing gear, and both live bait and artificial lures are permitted.
