Colorado Triathlon In Boulder County: Road Closures, Schedule
Here are the road closures you can expect Saturday in Boulder County.

BOULDER COUNTY, CO — The Colorado Triathlon will be held in Boulder County on Saturday, and there are some road closures drivers should know about.
The race is set to start and finish at the Boulder Reservoir. Westbound Jay Road will be closed from 6:45 a.m. to 11 a.m. between SH 119/Diagonal Highway and 51st St. All other roads on the bike course, including eastbound Jay Rd. from 51st St. to SH 119/Diagonal Highway, will remain open throughout the race.
The first race is scheduled to start at 7:30 a.m. Riders will be single file and spread out, and the last cyclists are set to leave Boulder Reservoir at around 8:15 a.m. All cyclists will be off the road by 11 a.m., organizers said.

A sweep vehicle will follow the last cyclists and alert the police and course marshals along the way, so that traffic can return to normal as soon as possible, officials said.

"If you are traveling through the area during the event please pay close attention to the Boulder County Sheriffs, Colorado State Patrol and the volunteer traffic marshals who will be helping to make this a safe situation for everyone involved," county officials said in a notice.
