CU South Annexation Proposal: Community Briefing Planned
The city of Boulder and the university are negotiating the annexation of CU South and seeking public feedback.

BOULDER, CO — A community briefing is set to be held Friday on the draft annexation agreement for the University of Colorado Boulder South property.
The university applied for permission to annex its CU South land into the city of Boulder in an effort to expand its campus in the location. The land would be under the city's jurisdiction, but the city wouldn't own the site.
Under the proposed draft agreement, the university agreed to allow the city to construct a flood mitigation system, and extend utility services to the site.
