BOULDER, CO — The City of Boulder has launched a curbside pick-up zone program to help local businesses stay afloat amid the coronavirus pandemic. The program will operate through Sept. 30, city officials said.

Some existing loading zones and parking spaces in downtown Boulder and University Hill will be converted into curbside pick-up spaces, the city said.

The pick-up zones will be free of charge for 10 minutes to offer customers enough time to pick up their orders, the city said. Signs in English and Spanish will be posted at the zones.

The city created the new program after consultations with Boulder County Public Health, Boulder Business Response and Recovery Alliance partners and the Colorado Restaurant Association, officials said.
