BOULDER, CO -- Planning to be in town this Thanksgiving, but looking to treat yourself to a delicious dinner out free of cooking, cleaning, and dishes? We've got you covered. Whether you are craving a traditional choice like the Hotel Boulderado, a creative pick like Kasa Japanese Grill, or the full-family catering options from newcomer Flower Child, Patch has found an option for everybody.

The Gourmet

Jill's Restaurant - Jill's at the St. Julien Hotel will offer both a Thanksgiving brunch and a candlelight dinner. Both meals are $79.95 for adults and $29.95 for children 4-12. The decadent dinner menu uses locally sourced produce and features a Munson's Farm pumpkin soup with maple cream and ginger snap cookie, a Tuscan kale salad with apples from the Western Slope, and choices of turkey, filet mignon, and almond gnocchi for a main course. Reservations are recommended.

The Traditional

Hotel Boulderado - The historic downtown hotel will offer an elegant Thanksgiving buffet every year, with traditional favorites like turkey, green bean casserole and candied sweet potatoes, as well as creative choices like salmon, stuffed zucchini boats, and creme brûlée for dessert. For groups larger than six, contact the hotel for reservations. Open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. $65 dollars for adults, $25 for kids 4-10. Children under 3 eat free.

Decadence in the Outdoors

Greenbriar Inn - Conveniently located for outdoor adventurers at the base of Lefthand Canyon, the Greenbriar is famous for its champagne brunch. For Thanksgiving, the inn offers a traditional Turkey buffet for $55 a person ($25 for kids 3-12). Choices include shrimp cocktail, cheese and charcuterie, soups, salads, Chef carved prime rib, cedar plank roasted whole salmon, pies and desserts. Seatings are from 11:30am to 7pm and reservations are required. Greenbriar also offers a Thanksgiving Eve meal, if you want to avoid the rush and spend your Thursday outdoors.

The Creative Rebel

Kasa Japanese Grill - Ready to celebrate, but more excited about non-traditional fare? Look no further than Pearl Street's Kasa Japanese Grill. The local restaurant offers top-notch sushi and other Japanese favorites in a beautiful, serene environment with a ceiling is covered in Japanese shade umbrellas, the restaurant's namesake. Kasa is open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and reservations are recommended.

Budget-Friendly Health Food Nut

Flower Child - A new arrival to the Boulder restaurant scene, Flower child offers affordable paleo, gluten-free, and vegan options – all at very reasonable prices. Flower Child is offering fully catered Thanksgiving options. Catered packages for 10-12 people range in price from $125-$145 and include creative and nourishing entrees, salads, and sides. Contact the restaurant to order your meal, but do it soon! Flower Child won't be open Thanksgiving Day, but will be able for catering pick-up through the 21st.
