Hadassah Boulder Sets Free Tour of Natl. Portrait Gallery May 23

Hadassah Boulder is offering a free, private, docent-led tour via Zoom of the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, DC on Sunday, May 23.

Hadassah Boulder is offering a free, private, docent-led tour via Zoom of the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, DC on Sunday, May 23rd at 11:15 AM (MST). The guided tour will highlight people of the Jewish faith who have shaped Jewish history and culture. The tour will be led by Lorna Grenadier, a long time NPG docent and history maven. Hadassah Boulder President Doris Weiss states, β€œThe National Portrait Gallery, which is part of The Smithsonian, houses and impressive collection of nearly 23,000 works of art. This virtual guided interactive tour will give viewers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to view these portraits more closely and to explore the lives of the portrait sitters in greater depth than possible in a traditional, crowded museum setting. Our docent, Lorna Grenadier, will surprise you with some startling discoveries.”
