Longmont Restaurant Week 2019 Arrives Friday

Participants this year include Beau Jo's, Sugarbeet, SAMPLES, and La Vita Bella Cafe.

LONGMONT, CO -- For 10 days each spring, the chefs at Longmont's favorite restaurants offer the city their best with price fixe menus priced at either $18.71 or $28.71. This year, 48 eateries will be participating, including the Great Harvest Bread Company, Oskar Blues and 2020 Food & Wine Bar. La Momo Mae's Bakery is even hopping into the mix with a $1.87/$2.87 menu. The tasting starts on March 29 and runs through April

This year there will also be three bonus events. A kick-off party at Oskar Blues will be hosted by the Longmont Chamber of Commerce from 5–7 p.m. on March 28. On April 3 from 4–6, the Tasty Weasel will host Kings of the Can'd Aid, a stationary bike competition and fundraiser for the Can'd Aid Foundation. Finally, on April 6, St. Vrain Cidery and Longmont Food Rescue will host the Food Truck Cup, where the eaters will pick the best in an "epic food truck battle."

Do your kids make it challenging to get out for a night on the town? This year, a collaboration with Family Village, Longmont's co-op child care and Walmart will allow families to drop off kids for three hours of child care for $18.71 per child on March 29 from 5–8 p.m., April 2 from 12–3 p.m. and April 6 from 3–8 p.m.
