Mountain Magic: Enchanted Forest In Nederland This Weekend

Want to get the kids into the mountains? Costumes and goodie bags might just do the trick.

NEDERLAND, CO - This weekend, the animals will be doing the talking at Nederland's Mud Lake. Tours of the forest led by animal characters–complete with goodie bags for kids–will take place all day Saturday at the 18th annual Enchanted Forest hosted by the Wild Bear Nature Center.

The festival will also feature face paining, mask making, fairy house building, and a visit to a magical cabin. Live entertainment scheduled throughout the day, including music with David Williams, marimba with Kutandara, and story-telling with Nina Berezinz. This end of summer event is also the perfect time to see the end of the fall leaves and perhaps even hear a bit of elk bugling.

Wild Bear Nature Center is a local non-profit that provides education opportunities for Front Range residents year-round, and all proceeds from the event will go back to that organization.
