Heavy snowfall is expected in Boulder this weekend, according to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service.

Here's a look at what you can expect:

Thursday: 50 percent chance of snowfall, with a high near 40. Up to 1 inch of snow could fall Thursday.

Friday: 80 percent chance of snow, with a high around 36, the National Weather Service said.

Saturday: 90 percent chance of snow, with a high near 36.

Sunday: Weather officials haven't yet given a percentage, but said that snow is "likely." A high around 36 is expected.
