New Speed Bumps Installed On Boulder Roads
New speed bumps have been installed on six neighborhood streets in Boulder.

BOULDER, CO — New speed bumps have been installed on six streets in Boulder after the city assessed neighborhood applications and held a public hearing in March. The speed bumps, or "humps," as the city calls them, are part of the Neighborhood Speed Management Program.
They have been installed on 37th Street, 55th Street, South 41st Street, South 46th Street, and Kalmia and Grinnell Avenues.
“Speed humps are designed to slow vehicles with a vertical change in the pavement” Ryan Noles, the city's transportation planner, said in a statement. “They can be immediately effective in reducing vehicle speeds by up to 20%.”
