BOULDER, CO — Chemical isotope testing and a facial reconstruction have revealed more clues to the identity of the man whose remains were found in Gregory Canyon in 1993, and the Boulder County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for any additional information. Although initial information about the remains was released at the time, the identity of the man they belonged to is still unknown, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.

Investigators believe the remains belonged to a Caucasian male, aged 25-45 and between 5’3” – 5’8" tall. He was wearing Levi blue jeans, a white shirt and white tennis shoes and had shoulder-length dark blond to light brown hair. His teeth were in poor condition, and he may have been suffering from anemia.

Chemical isotope testing suggests he was born in the Southeastern United States and likely lived in southern Florida or central Texas. He did not appear to be native to Colorado.
