Semis Blow Over On I-25: CDOT
High winds toppled semis on highways across the state, CDOT reported

LONGMONT, CO -- Several semis toppled over in high winds on I-25 Tuesday afternoon across the state, emergency agencies reported. Outside of Longmont, a semi flopped to its side on southbound I-25 blocking lanes at mile-marker 238, Mountain View Fire Rescue tweeted.
Another semi overturned on northbound I-25 at the intersection of Colorado Hwy 7, CDOT said. Another semi blew over in the left lane south of the intersection of Colorado Hwy 66 at mile marker 242.
Blowing dirt, dust and debris along the highway caused poor visibility for drivers. Winds were up to 80 mph in Boulder County, where several power outages were reported.

"Any semis traveling with empty trailers need to seek shelter," tweeted the North Metro Fire District. "They are no match against these winds. There are reports of rolled over semis all along I-25 in multiple fire districts."
The high wind is causing power outages and downed trees around the county. We are hearing reports of trees blocking roads and traffic lights out. Please use extra caution when you are out and about today.
