BOULDER, CO — With an inviting mountain backdrop, small town vibes and plenty of activities for the outdoorsy types, it's no secret that Boulder is one of the most sought-after cities to buy luxury property in the country.

There are currently more than 400 single-family homes listed for sale in Boulder on Realtor.com, more than half of which have an asking price of over $1 million. Around two dozen of those houses are listed for more than $4 million.

Boulder's most expensive home listing on Realtor.com, at 7983 Valmont Rd, is listed for 8.7 million. Set on 15 acres of pastoral ranch land enveloped by 1000+ more acres of Open Space, the home features a pool, spa, pool house, a game room, a guest suite and views of the Flatirons.
