Winter Storm Watch Issued For West Metro Denver, Boulder

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for some Front Range regions.

The National Weather Service has issued weather alerts for Boulder and the west metro Denver area. A winter storm watch will be in effect from late Friday night until 6 a.m. Monday.

Between 12 and 20 inches of snow is possible, weather officials said. Winds could gust up to 35 mph.

"Travel could be very difficult to impossible," the alert read.

The winter storm watch includes Denver's western metro area, Boulder, Fort Collins, Castle Rock and Greeley.
