Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Boulder, Longmont

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for parts of Boulder County and other Front Range regions.

BOULDER, CO — The National Weather Service has issued a weather alert for Boulder, Longmont and Denver's west metro area. A winter weather advisory remains in effect until noon Monday.

Between 3 and 6 inches of snow are expected to fall, weather officials said.

"Travel could be very difficult," the alert read. "The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute."

"Travelers should be prepared for hazardous road conditions and longer commute times as the heavier snow develops."

The advisory was issued for Boulder, Golden, Highlands Ranch, Denver, Lakewood, Aurora, Arvada, Littleton, Parker, Longmont, Denver International Airport and Brighton.
