Ag. Dept. Announces Call For 'Farm Fresh Directory' Listings
You can list your agriculture or food entrepreneur business in a statewide publication for $25.

BROOMFIELD, CO – Colorado agricultural and food entrepreneurs take note: Here's a chance to get your business listing in a yearly statewide publication.
The Colorado Department of Agriculture announced Tuesday that listings are being sought for the annual Colorado Farm Fresh Directory. This year is the 35th anniversary edition of this publication that promotes Colorado agri-businesses that sell directly to the public.
According to the agency, the directory includes "farmers’ markets, roadside stands, u-picks, Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) producers, agritourism activities, wineries and farms and ranches." Listings cost $25 each and the deadline is Feb. 15.

You can check out an online sample of the directory here.
In June, you'll be able to find more than 100,000 copies of the magazine distributed to libraries, extension offices, farmers’ markets, welcome centers, chambers of commerce, home milk delivery services and other businesses, the agency said. As an added benefit, Farm Fresh will be available as a mobile app for smartphones and online at www.coloradoagriculture.com.

“We are celebrating the 35th anniversary of this popular publication this year,” said Wendy White, marketing specialist at the Colo. Dept. of Agriculture in a press release. “We hope to make it the biggest and best edition ever.”

- There's funding available for Agricultural Hydropower Projects (deadline Jan. 18, 2019)
- The department also publishes holiday directories of Christmas tree farms, pumpkin patches, apple orchards, farmers markets and local delicacies made in Colorado.
