BROOMFIELD, CO -- Holiday celebrations and charity events are full-swing in Broomfield. Here's a holiday season roundup of special events happening at the city, the library and the Broomfield Auditorium.

Giving Tree. Give a local child a special wish by participating in the Giving Tree program. Pick a gift-wish tag from a local child at a Broomfield Giving Tree, then "SHOP and DROP off your gift" at A Precious Child, 557 Burbank Street, Unit E, before the deadline on the tag. You can find Giving Trees at City Hall, Paul Derda Recreation Center and Broomfield Community Center.

Creative Broomfield Jazz. On Wednesday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m., Don't miss the Creative Broomfield Jazz series at the Broomfield Auditorium. Broomfield Library Open House. On Saturday, Dec. 16 from 2 - 4 p.m., enjoy cookies and classical guitar music performed by Michael Quam in the lobby. Paint a "kindness rock" in the Discovery Lab. FREE!
