BROOMFIELD, CO -- Holiday celebrations and charity events are full-swing in Broomfield. Here's a holiday season roundup of special events happening at the city, the library and the Broomfield Auditorium.
Sports Tickets for a good cause. The city offers a special way to give twice for the sports-fan on your list. Make a $25 gift to gift to a local non-profit and get a voucher for two tickets to a Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche and/or Colorado Mammoth game. See details here: Purchase voucher.
Giving Tree. Give a local child a special wish by participating in the Giving Tree program. Pick a gift-wish tag from a local child at a Broomfield Giving Tree, then "SHOP and DROP off your gift" at A Precious Child, 557 Burbank Street, Unit E, before the deadline on the tag. You can find Giving Trees at City Hall, Paul Derda Recreation Center and Broomfield Community Center.

Creative Broomfield Jazz. On Wednesday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m., Don't miss the Creative Broomfield Jazz series at the Broomfield Auditorium. The University of Colorado Jazz Faculty will perform a special concert: "It Don't Mean a Thing if it Ain't Got That Swing." Buy tickets!
