Bear Relocated From Westminster Yard
The animal was munching on crabapples, Colorado Parks and Wildlife reported. It was tranquilized and released in a wilderness area.

WESTMINSTER, CO – A black bear was tranquilized and removed from a Westminster yard Monday morning. Agents from Colorado Parks and Wildlife found the bear about 7:30 a.m. in a backyard in the area of 133rd Avenue and Huron Street, the agency reported.
Neighbor Richard Fernandez captured the bear on video as it sat in his neighbor's yard, 9NEWS reported.
Parks and Wildlife officials told KDVR Fox31 the bear was probably eating crabapples and had not broken into any garbage containers. The animal was about two years old and weighed between 100 and 120 lbs., they said. With the help of Westminster police and Westminster Animal Control, parks and wildlife officials moved the bear and released it in "wilderness near the border of Douglas and Teller counties," the station reported.
