Broomfield Firm Recalls 64,000 Wireless Charge Pads
The wireless phone chargers sold by Imagine Nation Books can overheat while in use, posing a burn hazard, a federal agency said.

BROOMFIELD, CO – Louisville and Broomfield-based Imagine Nation Books voluntarily recalled 64,000 China-made wireless charging pads for overheating, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said.
The items recalled were the Pro Charge Power Wireless Charging Pad and Sharper Image Wireless Charging Pad, the message said. The chargers were sold for $10 or $11 in toy, gift, and electronics stores and book fairs nationwide from March 2018 through March 2019.
The company received 10 reports of of the wireless charging pads overheating and causing minor damage to the surface of furniture or bedding. No injuries have been reported, the agency said.

The chargers were made in China by Shenzhen ShouYu Technology Co. Ltd., the agency said.
Buyers should immediately stop using the recalled chargers and contact Imagine Nation Books/Collective Goods for a full refund, the government agency said.
