Broomfield HS Teacher Gives Up Coach Job, Will Return To Teaching

Head softball coach steps down, will resume teaching at the school next week.

BROOMFIELD, CO – A Broomfield High School teacher who was investigated by the district and Broomfield police will return to her job as a teacher, but not a coach, the school's principal told parents in a letter.

Head softball coach and science teacher Paula Seifried was placed on administrative leave after "allegations of misconduct," Principal Ginger Ramsey said in a letter. Neither the school nor the police department has said what the allegations were.

"On Wednesday, the Broomfield Police Department announced they were not pursuing any criminal charges. The result of the [Boulder Valley School District] investigation is a personnel matter.
