Captured on Video: Shoplifters Grabbed Merchandise, Fought Staff

Broomfield Police are seeking information on a man and woman who allegedly tried to steal more than $1,000-worth of merchandise.

BROOMFIELD, CO – Broomfield police are looking for two alleged shoplifters who tried to grab armfuls of merchandise from a local department store, police said.

Police released surveillance videos of a man and woman who were "involved in a disturbance" on Tuesday, March 12 at Flatirons Mall. Police said the two tried to walk out with items worth more than $1,100 and then became aggressive when store security staff tried to stop them.

The two, both described as "Hispanic," fled to the parking lot, and escaped in a "newer model grey Chevrolet sedan" with a Colorado temporary permit.
