On Saturday May 8, Broomfield's Local Face Covering Order will expire and Broomfield will be under the State of Colorado's Executive Order D 2021 095, through June 1 (unless extended).

What do you need to know:

  • Face coverings are still required in most indoor public settings. Face coverings, in combination with other prevention techniques, are critical tools for reducing transmission while we are approaching widespread vaccination.
  • If there are less than 10 people in an public indoor space, or if 80% of people in an indoor public space are able to demonstrate vaccinated status, face coverings are not required.
  • Face coverings are not required outdoors.
