Access your services, your way! Starting June 1, many City and County of Broomfield services will offer walk-in, by appointment, or virtual services —or all three—for the convenience and safety of residents. Please note many, if not all, services are also available online via self-service, or over the phone.

Drop-In Only Starting June 1:

• Broomfield Library, Depot Museum, inventHQ, Auditorium, Batting Cages and the Paul Derda Recreation Center and Broomfield Community Center Cardio and Weight Rooms
• Police Public Records Requests
• County/District court filings and payments
• Municipal Court filings and payments
• Waste Oil Dropoff at Norman Smith Service Center

Requires an Appointment:

• PDRC and BCC Child Sitting, Fitness Classes, Family Swim & Lakeshore Lunch
• Passport Services
• Public Health Clinics or Nursing Services
• Sex Offender Registration
• Community Development Pre-Application and Developer Meetings (online appointments only)
• Open Space and Trails Questions (Appt. or Email)/Requests for Site Visits
• Planning and Zoning Questions (“Planner on Call”)
• Broomfield Municipal Shops
• Norman Smith Service Center
• Water Treatment Plant

Available Via Appointment OR Via Drop-In:

• Motor Vehicle (renewals, new registrations, titles)
• Lap Swim at the PDRC of BCC and Admission to the Broomfield Bay
• Community Development Permit Applications (Drop off and pick up)
• Planning and Zoning Application Submittals
• Temporary Signs, Chicken/Bee Licenses (Drop off and pick up)
• Payments for Sales and Property Tax, or Utilities
• Child Support and EBT Services and Child, Adult and Family Services
• Workforce Services, Including the Resource Room: (Note: Resource Room is closed daily from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.)
• Concealed Weapon Permitting
• VIN Inspections (Police Department)
• Recording and Licensing including Marriage Licenses
• Birth & Death Certificates
• Notary, Marriage Licenses, and Utility Payments
• Wastewater Reclamation Facility (RV Dump Station)
