Dickey's Barbecue Pit To Open In Broomfield

BROOMFIELD, CO – Broomfield will soon be the site of a new location of the Dickey's Barbecue Pit franchise, the company announced.

Veteran restaurateur Brandon Gerrick will open his first Dickey's later this summer.

"Brandon and his wife recently made Broomfield their home and look forward to bringing Dickey's slow-smoked barbecue to the residents of his new community," the company said in a press release. "With over 15 years of restaurant experience, this will be the first concept that he owns and chose Dickey's due to his love for barbecue and the history of the Dickey's Barbecue Pit brand."

"I am excited to embark on this new adventure," Gerrick said in a press release.

Gerrick had initially been planning to open a franchise in Boulder, but it didn't happen.

The location of the new restaurant will be at 1255 E. 1st Ave., the company's website said.
