Dog Daze At Broomfield Bay: A Special Pup Swimming Event
Dogs don't mind a "bath" at the Broomfield Bay on a special day just for pooches to swim.
BROOMFIELD, CO – September is a time to say goodbye to summer fun at the pool, but the staff at the Broomfield Bay Aquatic Center hosts a special event at the end of their season – only for the dogs.
Dog Daze at the Bay returns on Sept. 8 -- a special event for dogs to jump into the pool and cool off from the summer heat. The Broomfield Recreation Department staff open up the entire aquatic facility from the splash pad to the fountains to the deep end to canine swimming enthusiasts.
"It's dog Water World!" an enthusiastic pet owner said last year.
