Missing Broomfield Man, 72, May Have Flown Out Of State: Police
Police said they believe Richard Hamm may have flown out of state.

BROOMFIELD, CO – Police updated a missing persons alert Wednesday for a 72-year-old man reported missing Wednesday. Richard Hamm may have boarded an airplane and left the state, police said in a tweet. Officers were following up to confirm, they said.
Richard Hamm, 72, suffers from dementia and had no phone or vehicle when he disappeared around 9 a.m. Wednesday near Catania Way and Via Varra in Broomfield, police said Wednesday.
Hamm was described as a white male about 5' 3" tall weighing 138 lbs. with grey hair. He was last seen wearing a grey sweater, light blue jeans, a waist-length black wool coat and grey sneakers, police said.
