Oct. 23 State Order Updates Gathering Restrictions For Safer At Home Counties Includes Broomfield
The revised order reduces the size of personal gatherings to no more than 10 people from no more than two separate households.

In response to an alarming increase in hospitalizations due to COVID-19, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) amended the Safer at Home public health order to limit personal gatherings in all counties at all Safer at Home levels, which includes the City and County of Broomfield. The revised order reduces the size of personal gatherings to no more than 10 people from no more than two separate households, and is effective October 23.

At this time, Broomfield residents are asked to remain vigilant and adjust behaviors to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in the community. In addition to observing the change in the number of households allowed at personal gatherings and maintaining the Safer at Home limit of 10 people or less at a gathering, remember the 3Ws: Wash your hands, Watch your distance, and Wear your mask.
