October Events At Broomfield Library

BROOMFIELD, CO – The Broomfield Public Library is hopping for October with special events for kids, teens and adults. Here are some of the events planned by the library for this month:

COSTUME CLINIC AT INVENTHQ
InventHQ presents a Halloween edition of Sewing Rebellion. Take advantage of inventHQ's machines, materials, and expert staff to create your best costume yet! Limited space available. Register today!

CREATIVE BROOMFIELD PRESENTS:
CASH'D OUT - New
The ultimate Johnny Cash tribute! Come experience the show described as "the next best thing to Johnny Cash" by the San Diego Music Awards and the ONLY tribute band endorsed by the official Johnny Cash web page and Cindy Cash herself. Get your tickets!

TEEN ART KICKOFF: INKTOBER! - New
Join Broomfield Library's YA Department for the NEW teen art club! Kick off your fall with the Inktober Challenge, an annual challenge during the month of October that encourages experimentation and improvement with ink! Learn tips and tricks while getting to know fellow club members. Snacks and materials provided! Learn more!

WOW! STEM WITH THE CHILDREN'S LIBRARY
WOW! Children's Museum will be bringing a series of hands-on sciences programs to the Broomfield Children's Library thanks to the generous support of the SCFD Broomfield community! This drop-in program is ongoing on the first Saturday of the month, 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.

TEEN MURDER MYSTERY DINNER THEATER

Just in time for Halloween! Join the Teen Advisory Board for a noir-style evening of mystery and intrigue! Dinner provided. Registration required!

DIA DE LOS MUERTOS

Learn about the tradition of Día de los Muertos or Day of the Dead. From its Aztec roots to its modern celebration, explore the rich history of this tradition while decorating a sugar skull; a personal remembrance of ancestors and passed loved ones. Learn more!
