OSHA Investigating Death Of Broomfield Man In South Dakota
Andrew Psomas, 23, of Broomfield, fell from a cell phone tower and died of his injuries in Pennington County, SD.

RAPID CITY, SD - The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the death of a Broomfield cell phone technician who fell from a cell tower in South Dakota.
Andrew Psomas, 23, of Broomfield fell from a cell phone tower around 8:44 p.m. while working at night on Jan. 10, on 154th Avenue near Caputa, South Dakota, a spokeswoman for the Pennington County Sheriff's Office told the Rapid City Journal.
According to the Journal, OSHA opened an investigation into the death, which can last up to six months. Psomas was working for Sauk Rapids, Minnesota- based True North Tower.

"We are deeply saddened by this tragic event and our thoughts are with Andrew’s family, friends and co-workers as we work through this difficult time," an emailed statement to the Journal from Jordan Wang, the vice president of True North Tower said.
