Recycle Christmas Trees At 7 Broomfield Locations
Broomfield's Forestry Dept. runs multiple collection sites throughout the city where Christmas trees can be dropped off and mulched.

BROOMFIELD, CO – Christmas is over, the school holiday break ends next week and it's time to think about what to do with that live Christmas tree.
Broomfield's Forestry Department urges you to recycle your tree by dropping it at one of seven collection sites throughout the city.
Through Jan. 13, 2019, you can drop off your tree to be chipped into garden-enriching mulch.

The collection sites are intended for trees only –no garlands, yard waste, wreaths or other tree branches please. Before dropping off your tree, be sure to remove all lights, ornaments, tree stands, nails, and any objects that could damage the Forestry Department's wood chipping equipment.
Christmas Tree Collection Sites:
- Anthem Community Park – The tree drop-off is ½ mile east of Lowell Boulevard and Sheridan Parkway, on the far east side of the parking lot (NOT THE SMALL PARKING LOT DESIGNATED FOR RESERVOIR ACCESS).
- Broadlands Park West - Sheridan Blvd. and Meadow Mountain Dr. The tree drop-off is on the northwest side of the parking lot.
- Bronco Park - Westlake Dr. and Grove Cir. The tree drop-off is north of the backstop.
- Community Park Ball Fields - Community Park Rd. and Spader Way. The tree drop-off is west of George Hall Field.
- Lac Amora Park - Miramonte Blvd. and Oak Cir. North. The tree drop-off is north of the playground.
- Meridian Park - McKay Cir. and Park Cove Way in McKay Landing. The tree drop-off is located west of the backstop.
- Broomfield Recycling Center – 225 Commerce St. The tree drop-off area is west of the recycle bins.
- Tree Branch Recycling Facility - 2990 W. 124th Ave. The tree drop-off area is located east of the guard shack by the mulch pile.
If you miss the Jan. 13 deadline, you can bring your tree to the city/county's Tree Branch Recycling Facility at 2990 W. 124th Avenue. That's also where you can pick up free mulch for your landscaping needs.
