Scruffy Fugitive Gets A Makeover, Thanks To Broomfield Cops
A loose poodle mix kept officers chasing him all day in Broomfield, until they finally took him into custody for a trip to the groomers.

BROOMFIELD, CO -- Broomfield police helped a fast fugitive get a sharp new haircut and a bath. Officers in the Broomfield Police Animal Services got the heads up that a "small scruffy looking poodle was running at large in the Anthem Ranch subdivision," Feb. 7, according to the department's Facebook page.
"After a long day of trying to catch this guy, Animal Services was finally successful in apprehending him and able to get him some much needed care," the post said.
After his five-day animal hold, officers took him for some "much needed grooming at Dirty Dog Grooming." This lucky little dog is now waiting for his forever home at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley.
If you have any information as to a possible owner of this little poodle, they would love to hear from you. They can be reached at 303.438.6400.
