Stress Secrets And Gut Biome Explored In Broomfield Health Talks

Free lectures offered at Broomfield Community Center will discuss natural stress reduction practices and the gut biota and immune system.

BROOMFIELD, CO -- Two upcoming free evening talks at the Broomfield Community Center will discuss health issues. The Functional Medicine Evening series features two presentations by Andrea Crane, MS HNFM, BS at 6:30 - 8 p.m.

On Monday, Mar. 5, Crane presents Stress: The Biology of Recovery. The talk will review of the body's response to stress, followed by a more extensive exploration of the physiological benefits of stress reduction and how to implement stress reduction via practical diet and lifestyle changes.

On Monday, May 7, Crane presents: The MicrobiomeThe New(est) Frontier. The talk will discuss one of the most important yet least understood components of human health/well-being and the link between the gut biota and immune system.
