'We Are Broomfield' Series At Depot Museum

History, music and knitting will be featured at Broomfield's favorite museum in a boxcar.

From Broomfield Depot Museum: Celebrate World Wide Knit In Public Day at the Broomfield Depot Museum on Saturday, June 9 from 10-11:30 a.m.

All levels of knitters, crocheters, and embroiderers are invited to socialize and clank needles in the depot's waiting room or sit outside next to Shep the Turnpike Dog's grave, on the museum's deck, or under a small canopy in the park. Visitors are encouraged to bring and share their own projects. The museum will also have yarn, knitting needles, and crochet hooks on hand.

No pets or food are allowed in the museum; however, participants may bring water in containers with lids inside. The museum has folding chairs for use inside the museum. Food and drinks are welcome outside the museum. Those wishing to knit outside should bring lawn chairs or blankets.
