'Wild Women Of The West' Talk In Broomfield
Learn about the cowgirls who gave Denver and Broomfield their wild reputations at fundraiser for Broomfield Depot Museum Friends.

BROOMFIELD, CO – Molly Brown was just the beginning. Denver's history is filled with the stories of unconventional women who made history–and their fortunes– in the wild West.
Hear about some of them Wednesday at a presentation by Tom "Dr. Colorado" Noel and public historian and museum professional Jacqui Ainlay-Conley at Broomfield Auditorium.
Tales will range from groundbreaking medical pioneer Dr. Florence Sabin to ladies of the evening, such as Denver madams Mattie Silks and Jenny Rogers. Ainlay-Conley will also shed light on some of Broomfield's most rollicking women.
