Colorado Springs Non-Essential Personnel To Report On March 15

Due to the winter weather conditions, all City of Colorado Springs non-essential personnel are on a delayed start for the morning of Monday, March 15. Non-essential personnel must report to work by noon. Teleworking is permitted with supervisor approval.

The Public Works Operations & Maintenance Division will continue a full call-out of 40 snow plows for snow removal operations. Please be advised that wind and blowing snow have slowed snow plowing operations forcing crews to re-plow roads. Crews are working extended shifts to address primary and secondary routes, but ask for the public’s patience as they continue to address significant snow accumulations citywide.

City officials ask that drivers use caution around working snow plows, allow plenty of room to pass and maintain as safe distance as crews have limited visibility. Road conditions will vary considerably across the city-- check road conditions prior to traveling. For more information on snow plowing operations and snow routes visit ColoradoSprings.gov/Snow.

City administrative offices will open at noon.

Mountain Metro Transit bus service will have a 10 a.m. late start Monday morning.

The Colorado Springs Municipal Court will open at noon. Residents with a scheduled appearance before noon Monday must report to the court within 48 hours to schedule a new appearance date.
