Dillon Up For Adoption In CO Springs: ‘Social, Loving’ Pittie Mix

Dillon is up for adoption through the nonprofit RezDawg Rescue.

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — A pit bull mix named Dillon is up for adoption in Colorado Springs through the animal welfare organization RezDawg Rescue. The nonprofit rescues stray, feral and abandoned dogs who are struggling to survive on Native Reservations in the Four Corners Region. The rescued animals are then vaccinated, spayed/neutered, treated for any medical issues and placed into a foster home.

In Bernie's bio, RezDawg volunteer Jackie Vlcek writes that Dillon “is extremely social and loves people and dogs. This handsome boy is very gentle and sweet with puppies — a trait that comes in handy while helping to ‘babysit’ litters of puppies in his foster home.”

Dillon is a year old and, due to his exuberance and youth, would likely do best in a home with older children. Dillon would love to join his new family for lots of hiking, camping and trips to the brewery (his personal favorite, Vlcek writes.)
