Motorist Alert : Overnight Closure of I-25 at Monument, Exit 163
Work to replace the Monument overpass continues tonight with a full overnight closure of I-25 at County Line Road, exit 163. Expect delays.

DENVER - Colorado Department of Transportation (CODOT) has issued a construction delay warning for motorists in the Monument area tonight.
Construction of the County Line Road bridge will require rerouting of all through and local traffic during the night. Detours will begin approximately 7pm and will run through at least 5am.
In addition to the closure of all lanes of I-25, east-west access across the County Line Road/Palmer Divide Road bridge will also be closed.

Motorists on I-25 will detour using the on- and off-ramps at the County Line Road interchange. For those northbound, motorists will funnel into one lane just south of the County Line Road bridge and use the northbound I-25 off- and on-ramps at County Line Road to navigate around the closure.
For those southbound I-25, motorists will funnel into one lane just north of the County Line Road bridge and use the southbound I-25 off- and on-ramps at County Line Road bridge to navigate around the closure.

Motorists who would normally use County Line Road bridge to head east or west should divert using Highway 105 via the Monument/Palmer Lake interchange at exit 161.
Motorists should expect delays up to 20 minutes. Impacts may begin as early as 7pm to mobilize equipment and set up the closures.
