COLORADO SPRINGS, CO -- There were some happy tears at the Chapel Hills Mall Wednesday when Santa showed three young children what was in a giant box wrapped in silver paper. Out popped the children's mom Stephanie Hook, who had spent the last eight months deployed with the U.S. Navy.

According to KOAA, Hook called Diane Loschen, the mall's marketing director, about an hour before her kids were supposed to arrive at the mall. Mall employeesscrambled to find a giant box for Hook to hid inside for the big surprise. They wrapped it with silver paper and a red bow.

Santa questioned the children about what they thought was in the box, "Is it a giraffe?" he asked.
