DENVER, CO — Many Denver homes are filled with rich history, but with modern finishes, structural upgrades and fresh coats of paint, the true story of a home can remain hidden. Fortunately, many homeowners strive to not only maintain old homes, but highlight their oldest parts with pride.
There are currently more than 250 homes listed for sale in Denver that are more than 100 years old. While some no longer look like they once did, others appear, at least from the outside, exactly like they did at the turn of the 20th century.

This 129-year-old home on Capitol Hill sits just minutes from downtown Denver. The mansion has been renovated over the years, but its original woodwork has been retained throughout the home. It's currently an office, but it can be converted into a house, listing agents said.
