Best Brunch Spot In Colorado: Daily Meal List Says

There’s so much to love about brunch — from ham, bacon and sausage, to chicken and waffles, or creative takes on eggs. It’s all tasty. And let’s not forget cocktails, bloody Marys, mimosas, and lemonade with a splash of bourbon.

For those looking to find their next favorite brunch spot, we’ve got some good news for you.

A new list from the Daily Meal named Sassafras American Eatery as the best brunch spot in Colorado.

The food and dining website compiled the list showing the best brunch eatery in every state by doing a deep dive into review sites. It specifically looked for spots that don’t just serve the best traditional food but also venture outside the box.

“These restaurants pay just as much attention to their brunch menu as their dinner menu, and they serve it all in a lively space with just the right amount of celebratory fanfare,” authors of the Daily Meal list wrote. “If you live near any of these spectacular spots, set aside a leisurely Sunday afternoon and treat yourself.”

Here’s more information about the top brunch spot in our state, which has locations in Denver and Golden:

"... its brunch menu of classic Southern fare (with a decidedly New Orleans influence) keeps weekend lines long," The Daily Meal post read. "Beignets, gumbo, barbecue shrimp, grits, five mac and cheeses, fried green tomato Benedict, chicken fried eggs and smoked buffalo hash … just looking at this menu is enough to make you wish it was Sunday morning."

The report also noted the "massive variety" of mimosas and bloody marys the restaurant offers.
