Cherry Creek North Winter Wanderland Opens Friday

Under coronavirus restrictions, Cherry Creek North will open a holiday light walk, an outdoor market and a light art installation.

CHERRY CREEK, CO — The Cherry Creek North 'Winter Wanderland' is scheduled to open Friday with strict coronavirus precautions in place, organizers said.

Because the vendors and events are outdoors, they will be able to adhere to public health guidelines using a reservation system and gathering caps, organizers said.

The Winter Wanderland will include a 16-block walk with more than half a million lights — many of which will be choreographed to music.

Week one vendor highlights:

  • The Family Jones - Premium spirits from a Denver-based distillery.
  • Bjorn's Honey - Small batch honey and bee-based skincare products.
  • Noelle Phares - Contemporary paintings that combine landscape elements with structural geometry.

The market will be open seven days a week, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. Entry to the event is free, but reservations are encouraged as market capacity is limited.

The market has been organized by the market-organizing company Fetch, formerly known as the Denver Flea.

“We are excited to launch this partnership between Fetch and the Cherry Creek North Business Improvement District,” said Blake Adams, owner of Fetch.

“We are looking at this holiday market as a first annual event that returns for many years to come.”
