Colorado Begins Sending Stimulus Payments To Residents
The state is sending direct cash payments to eligible Coloradans.
Gov. Jared Polis and the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment announced Tuesday that the state has begun to issue one-time stimulus payments of $375 to Coloradans who are facing economic hardship amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Around 435,000 people in our state can expect to receive the money, according to the department.
All Coloradans who were eligible to receive between $25 and $500 in weekly unemployment insurance benefits — which include Pandemic Unemployment Assistance, Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation, and other programs — between March 15 and Oct. 24, are eligible to receive the one-time payment, the department said.

Claimants do not need to contact the department or take any other action in order to receive their payments, officials said. All eligible claimants will receive an email or call from the department, according to the state.
Those who are expecting a payment are encouraged to log into their benefits accounts and ensure that their address is up to date, officials said. Their selected payment method — either direct deposit or Reliacard, must also be correct.
