Colorado Opens Community Vaccination Site In Commerce City

A new state vaccination clinic opened at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.

COMMERCE CITY, CO — Colorado's third state community coronavirus vaccination site opened Monday at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City.

The contract to operate the new drive-thru site was awarded to Centura Health.

The clinic will begin offering 2,000 vaccines each day, but the site will be able to offer between 3,000 and 6,000 each day once there is enough supply, state officials said.

Coloradans ages 50 and older, as well as people ages 16 to 49 with one high-risk health condition, are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. You can register for the new clinic here or by calling 720-263-5737.

The drive-through clinic will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. All vaccines are free with no co-pay.

The state's first two community vaccination clinics opened March 17 in Colorado Springs and Grand Junction.
