Denver Among Best U.S. Cities To Sell A Home: Report
Denver is listed among the top places to sell a home in the nation, according to a new report.
DENVER, CO — Five Denver-area cities, and the city itself, are named among the top 25 places to sell a home nationwide in a new report.
To find the best places to sell a home, SmartAsset analyzed 165 U.S. cities using several metrics, including the average number of days that homes spent on the market, the five-year change in home values and the percent of homes sold for a loss.
Aurora leads the way, ranking as the No. 1 city to sell a home nationwide. Lakewood ranks 3rd, Arvada ranks 5th, Denver itself ranks 6th and Thornton ranks 20th — tying with Bellevue, WA and Modesto, CA.

All five Denver area cities rank in the better half of the study for four of the five metrics SmartAsset analyzed. Each city has higher five-year changes in median home value, lower average number of days on the market, lower percentages of homes sold for a loss and lower average closing costs, according to the report.
