Denver PrideFest 2021: Schedule, Events, Activities

This year's festivities will include in-person and virtual celebrations.

DENVER, CO — Denver Pride weekend is fast approaching and event organizers have been working tirelessly to plan around changing public health guidelines and COVID-19 rates. But the organizers have succeeded, and they're offering both virtual and in-person celebrations.

Rex Fuller, CEO of The Center on Colfax, has been organizing Denver PrideFest since the early 1990s. Fuller penned a letter in April to Colorado's LGBTQ community, which outlined the struggles many have faced during the pandemic.

"The last year has also taught us so much about the power and strength we find in community," the letter read, in part. "I am so proud of our staff, program attendees and Colorado’s LGBTQ community who were able to come together virtually throughout last year for many of The Center on Colfax’s programs, including the very first Virtual Denver PrideFest."
