Denver Restaurants, Bars Ordered Closed To Dine-In Customers
Mayor Michael Hancock has announced that patrons will not be able to sit inside bars and restaurants.
DENVER, CO — The City and County of Denver has ordered all bars and restaurants to close to dine-in customers until May 11. The order was announced after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued guidance Sunday that recommended gatherings of more than 50 people should be limited over the next eight weeks.
Restaurant customers can still take advantage of drive-thru, delivery and takeout options, Mayor Michael Hancock said at a news conference Monday morning.
The closures will begin Tuesday at 8 a.m., Hancock said.
